Adding tasks, what’s possible?
Most rewards tools just let you do one giveaway at a time. Tropee is different. It's a rewards page where your fans complete tasks to earn points, and unlock giveaways and rewards. This way, you can get the same value as a giveaway, but the fun never stops — it just keeps going!
What are tasks?
Tasks are actions you want your fans to complete, for example:
- Follow you on Instagram or TikTok
- Like a video on YouTube
- Post a Tweet on X
- Subscribe to your newsletter
For each task they complete, your fans will earn points. Then, they can use these points to get rewards or join giveaways.
How to set up a task
Creating a task is simple. Just go to your dashboard menu and click on Tasks. Then, hit Add task. You'll get two options: pick from our library of 90+ task templates or start from scratch.
How to customize a task
Let's take a look at all the parts you can customize to create the perfect task.
Title
Titles have the power to influence clicks, so make sure they clearly describe what the task is about.
Points
For each task they complete, your fans will earn points. Make sure the points your fans earn match the importance of the task. For example, subscribing to a newsletter should earn more points than liking an Instagram post.
Task validation
By default, tasks are set to Automatic validation, so points are automatically awarded to your fans without manual review. If you prefer more control, you can ask fans to submit a screenshot or enter text for your review. With this option, you'll be able to approve or decline each task submission. Recurrence
You can decide how often a task repeats. By default, they just repeat once, but you can set them to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly. For instance, if your task is 'Donate $2 on Buy Me a Coffee,' selecting 'Monthly' means fans can earn points every month by completing the same task every month.
How to share a task
To get better results, share your tasks with more people. Just go to the Share tab to find ways to spread the word.
Every task has its own special link that you can copy. This link takes people directly to that task on your Tropee. It's a great way to guide your fans to the exact thing you're talking about on social media.
You can copy the link or easily share it using the Share button.
Notify members about a new task
When someone engages with your Tropee, they become a ‘member’ — just like joining your own club!
As the creator, you can easily email all your members whenever you add a new task. Just pick the task you want to share with your fans, go to the Share tab, and click Notify now.
Every member will get an email with your Tropee photo and name that looks like this:
Clicking this link will take them straight to your Tropee page.
The link will be highlighted for two seconds, allowing your members to easily spot and click on the new task. It also gives them a chance to explore other tasks available on your Tropee page.
